Any Adwords users here? Have you ever used 'site targeting' / CPM?

what's your average CPM bid? how long does it take to get this running?

no, adwords regular editorial does.. same as if you run on content network.

is $4.00 cpm a decent bid? i have no idea. i figure at a 2% CTR (i have less success on the content network) that's 20 clicks / 1000 ($4.00). that's .20 a click. pretty expensive if these are actually the numbers.

do you have much success using site targeting?

well that was a fucking disaster. ended up paying $2.50 CPM with a .08% CTR. nice. i wonder how much of it is due to shitty layouts on the publisher end.

anyone have any success with this stuff?
