                                                              There are alot of differences between Sweden and the United States though. Most reports I've read (just google it yourself) state that gun related crime (including homocide) has increased since they enforced bans on most gun ownership in Australia in 1996. I think alot of factors play into it, and 'banning' guns really isn't going to solve 99% of them. When you're raised on gangster rap by a crackwhore in some ghetto shithole what do you expect.

                                                                      I agree. Culturally and historically the US is unique. Guns have been in the hands of citizens from the country's inception. To outlaw guns now would not solve the gun violence problem we see now.

                                                                      Quite frankly, I can't wait to buy my first gun. I think it would be fun to target practise just for sport.

                                                                          Many of my friends carry. Feel safer that way. Fuck your spiral of violence bullshit. The bad guys have guns and always will. The big brother thing is gonna have to go a lot further to even dent that gun ownership issue.

                                                                          Sad for the cops in that video. Can't tell the whole story from the video as to what was going on. Maybe if someone else there had a gun, the second cop might have been saved?

                                                                                              I'm not going to get to deep into this but yes I agree there is a huge difference between the US and Sweden.
                                                                                              One of these differences are that you are afraid of gun related violence, that's why you yourselves carry guns.

                                                                                              I remember a quote from Marilyn Manson (not a stupid man) saying: "America is a nation controlled by fear".

                                                                                              violence -> fear -> guns -> violence *repeat*
