But hey.. i think movies are/where one of the main reasons
people would join a paysite. I mean.. pics are out there
in larger quantities for free..
So if this freemoviez segment starts booming (and it already is so im just speaking in historical terms) this will
remove a reason from the surfers
'why-should-i-join-a-paysite' list..
Ofcourse movies are better than pictures but let
the surfer PAY for it instead of giving it away for free..

Fine, for the idiots who have posted about nothing... read below...
we all know that right now TGP's and picture posts outnumber movie sites by a good amount. There are a variety of reasons for this, but I think the main reason is that when the internet started, bandwidth was way too expensive and way too slow...so obviously people on 56k would rather go searching for 100KB picture than a 3MB movie...and webmasters would rather serve several 100 KB pictures than several 3MB+ movies.
well, bandwidth is as cheap as ever, and will only become cheaper, and internet speeds are becoming faster and faster. So will movie sites outnumber picture sites in the future once alot more people have access to dsl and cable?
I personally think the answer is yes..I think we are in the right niche, and are gonna have a nice head start once more and more surfers realise movies are better then pictures. Interested in what everyone else thinks.Comment

need more niche type movies tho. with pics u can find just about anything u want, but its a lot harder to find the same content for movies.
niche stuff is usually a lot more expensive too since the supply isn't there

big problem with movie galleries is that most of the content is not legal. image content is plentiful, high quality, and of most every niche you can think of. Movie content? Not even close.Comment

mrthumbs is correct. Movies are a huge draw to joining a paysite. The day millions of crisp clear, long movies can be download from hundreds of websites I think we're screwed.
I've been to many of the popular movie sites and the quality of the movies is really bad. Lets hope it stays that way.Comment

by the time tons of full-length crisp and clear movies are available, TGPs will be all but dead, MGPs will be like TGPs are today, plentiful and diluted, and the new thing will be virtual reality porn. make way for VGRP's!

If you are smart, then you'd give your surfer no more than a minute of movies on your gallery. If he likes what you offer, then he'd probably continue on to your pay-site. 'nuff said.
