I always say "all kinds of things: build websites and webpages, do site/product reviews, a little advertising & marketing, and some light design". usually at that point, they're overwhelmed and just say "ahh..cool." :-P

Seriously though, my immediate relatives know I market porn. They don't like it, but they respect that fact that I am supporting my family alone and I have been able to work from home so I can keep from having to put my kids in daycare.

Strangers, though, or people at my kids' schools, I will tell I am in marketing.
