Just because you are posting on gfy doesn't mean you are directly supporting the programs who advertise here. Clicking their ad or sending them traffic would be supporting them. According to your flawed logic, we can't ever call out a gfy advertiser and continue to participate on the board otherwise its hypocritical.

In a way it does. At least, it means you're in support of the way GFY runs it's operation and who it accepts as sponsors.

I'd call that indirectly, not directly. Ultimately an advertiser doesn't directly benefit from a poster if they never click their ads, sign up for their program or send them traffic. On the flip side, a poster can directly have a negative effect on the advertiser should he expose their less than honorable practices to the board. Its a system of checks and balances, if a sponsor is going to advertise and have a presence on the board then they better make sure they have their shit together because they will most likely be scrutinized more than the sponsors who don't have a presence.
