Franck was born to complain man... He buys passes from my company submitpasses and he takes every opportunity to bad mouth us he can.
The worst part is that I think Franck is an alright guy in person but as soon as he gets behind a computer he turns from Dr Jekyll into Mr Hyde. :( DH |

I do not know if smokey has chimed in here or not. Me and him been discussing a few things as of late, I am experiencing something with my host.
RANSOMWARE related. At midnight tonight you will see a trojan install itself on my index page. Me and him have identified it. Maybe it is something completely different. It is possible. My problem is Looks like a stats counter to another place. Which is: http://www.statcounter.com and http://dnv-counter.com/trf/ It is possible that this trojan has infected some people. My point in posting this is, I just do not see Media doing this sort of thing, Epic, nor a few of the other programs that are "good players". Its just a theory... It could be a server related problem they or traffic partners are unaware of. But goto my site right now. There is no error. At midnight it will update itself. I have been communicating with my host to make them aware of this. |
PS: The error is not visible in the source code when it happens.
Its server controlled and works on a CRON job. Meaning the server was hacked by someone outside. I would advise folks start getting together and look around, this thing has been sweeping several machines as of late. If this is the case Thank Smokey and typical GFY surfers contacting me about a trojan. He told me what was happening and seen it a bit lately. |
dont anyone click those links posted above as they may/prob contain trojans..
but just to clarify the stats counter and pornkings dont have aything to do with each other ( as far as im aware ) The statscounter trojan is part of "spysheriff" but i have no doubt that problems like this exist because of "semi-legit" use of programs like some of the ones suggested as of late.. I think if sponsors want to last they will prob start needing to look alot closer at whom they trade traffic with.. some of these "adware" type products are nothing more than backdoor thievery im suprised sponsors even allow such garbage.. With that being said i think it sucks there cant be "trustworthy" adult adware that is done properly , in the mainstream market there are many such products " like icq" that rely almost completely on ads , but offer a good service and dont fuck with your shit. |

Its an automated bot that sought out a vulnerable php ap you had installed , it likely came ( the attack ) from the last server it victimized , it basically installs a backdoor to then mosify your server to its needs. So other than who wrote the code it wasnt done manually ( most likely ) |
See...
Its a "Servical Cancer". I invented Servical Cancer TM |

As Smokey Stated.
The trojan's can stick itself in scripts at a server level once installed. Wordpress for example, PostNuke. It's possible the shit resides on some scripts installed reutinely by webmasters these days on popular download sites, or a vulnerability is found in the scripts. People wouldnt even know themselves really till the shit started. |
