Yeah, it's one of my favorite channels too. One of the few I really get to experience all of the cool features of the television I paid a fortune for.

I watch EVERYTHING Discovery sends on HD - love it. Best thing since sliced bread.
 PS. I am a HD freak, subscribe to EVERY HD channel there is, hardly watch any other TV programs that does not send in HD except for news...

discovery is probably my favourite channel
the shows they have about ants and that kinda stuff zoomed in and showing how they live is mind blowing

ok now that has gotten me motivated to get a new TV.
