I am having PARTITION problems... disk management says they are healthy. PLEASE HELP!
I have a 200 GB HDD divided into 2 - 95 GB partitions. One partition quit working, the other works well. The windows disk management under administrative tools lists both partitions as being healthy. Even when I click on the drive letter it will open the drive and show my files.
However... when I click on any files or folders there is a brief delay then it declares that my drive needs formatting. I have 95 GB worth of shit on there, I can NOT format this drive. I have partition magic 8.0 but it does not help. What can I us to do a disk repair... windows and PM both get stuck about 1/2 way through the checking process then stop responding. I do not understand how the drive shows the files, but will not let me click them. I am looking for suggestions. Perhaps a better program than Partition Magic or otherwise. What ya think. |
