lovehappens.com hacking and spamming...

Anyone here know who runs lovehappens.com? A friend of ours got his hotmail account hacked and they spammed all his contacts with invitations to join this site. He's a bit pissed now...

Haven't used hotmail for atleast 6 years, but shouldn't it be pretty hard to get in there with a virus/malware or whatever the thing is called?

I don't know who actually runs lovehappens, but they do seem like a reputeable outfit. I reg'd an account there way back when they were called..... shit I forget what they used to be called. It was before they changed their name to "tickle.com".

Anyway, I've never noticed them willfully spamming before.

Not like Anna's describing. That sounds more like a virus than a company spamming.

And, until I joined, I had never received any unsolicited email from that company, so from my perspective I've never known them to spam.

Lastly, I don't send out mass unsolicited emails either, never have.

So, to answer your question.... me.

I had the same thing happen. Well, i mean people spammed me with their shit. Girl i know who supposedly signed up for adult dating and then sent me an invite. I already figured it was a work or something that does this.

Well, shouldn't Hotmail be secure enough to not let something like this happen?
