Myspacegrill.com makes $600 a day

How do these Myspace sites make so much revenue?

He has an advertising source of some sort, anyone know how to come across it and see how he gets in the hits?

the only expense they probably have is the cost of hosting. i run a similiar site that makes around the same and you don't *need* to pay a penny to advertise.....

So the advertisers just come and find you? You don't have to pay for traffic or anything else?

well of course it's your responsibility to find advertisers, but the sites advertise themselves. think of viral advertising....

They offer layouts, trains, tweaks, etc

When the myspace user takes one of the layouts on myspacegrill, myspacegrill have an 'ad' code hidden within the layout that the myspace user takes. Once the myspace user transforms there profile to the pimped out new one, myspacegrill place there ad in the top left of that persons profile. So anyone who visits that profile see's where that person got it from and goes to myspacegrill to get there own... you understand? it works similar with the myspace whore trains they have there ad at the bottom of them.. and people who use the whore train things have like 200,000+ friends or so.

if a site was making 13k/month you would figure he would be smart enough to budget for taxes.

1. Get a friend adder

2. Create a bunch of accounts

3. Add hundreds/thousands of friends to each account

4. Use your profile generator or whatever the fuck you're promoting on your pages.

5. Post bulletins about it.

6. Bulletin spreads. More people check out your profile with linking code.

YPN is where the money is at but they are getting fed up with MySpace sites.

Google's Adsense attempts to find the best match to suit your page so you're not going to get any of the "big money" clicks.

Ok, its simple why he is making that much.

YPN is in beta, he will make way less when its public.
From myspace you get traffic that 90-95% US (YPN pays for us traffic).
He makes it so that his content links and YPN links blends in so well.

There, now you know.

I have never seen personally how it all works with adwords.

The guy is revealing his info because he wants to sell his site. The price so far is at $80,000. It's about 3 months old, he spends about $6,000 per month on advertising to earn $19,000.

There seem to be a lot of these "NEW" sites earning about $2,000+ per month the exact same way over at Sitepoint for sale.

I've seen the site before. He changed his YPN ads. He had images right next to them before.

My guess....he recieved the same warning thousands of YPN beta testers recieved asking them to remove the images from next to their ads.

I bet his clicks went way down....so he is trying to jump ship.
