I haven't watched the semi finals because I want to be suprised today so it is even funnier.

Which balkan is going to host it next year then?

I read an interesting article on who votes for who.

'Balkan-block':
Serbia-Montenegro, Croatia, Macedonia, Slovenia, Bosnia, Albania, Romania, Greece, Turkey og Cypruss.

'Viking-empire':
Denmark, Sweden, Iceland, Norway, Estonia, Finland, Lithuania og Latvia

'Warzawa-pagt':
Polen, Russia og Ukraine

Cyprus and Greece have given each other 12 point since 1996

Its turned into a joke where neighboring countries gives each other points.

I hope Finland wins that would be sooooo funny.

Manowar 05-20-2006 12:23 PM

ouch my EARS

vantage 05-20-2006 12:23 PM

Uff the Latvia is GAY :-)

vantage 05-20-2006 12:24 PM

I didn't mean it is a bad way. There is no reason why people should have to know English. I liked it better when they had to sing in their own language anyway. But if you are going to a write a song in English and know that most people voting won't know the words anyway why bother to make it make sense.

Manowar 05-20-2006 12:24 PM

They have guts to do that accapella in front of so many people

Sarah_Jayne 05-20-2006 12:25 PM

lol..now the swaying in time

djroof 05-20-2006 12:25 PM

OMG!!! What a GAY band!!!

vantage 05-20-2006 12:25 PM

Manowar 05-20-2006 12:25 PM

Sarah_Jayne 05-20-2006 12:26 PM

True - i just find it funny that they use it as some kind of marketing gimmick, almost as if having English in a song ironically makes it popular.

vantage 05-20-2006 12:26 PM

What the hell: the "Robot" at the right stage table????

Yeah I totally agree. if you are going to do a song do it in one language, not randomness, it just sounds stupid :1orglaugh

djroof 05-20-2006 12:27 PM

I want to see where this year Greece give the 12 points... very interesting...

Muahaha :1orglaugh

I actually got into their song once it got going, could have done with something easier on the ears at some points though.

testpie 05-20-2006 12:28 PM

Good old Norway - always the best option to whack a quick one off to.

Now there's an idea for a quick buck - "babes of Eurovision" including a "wank-o-meter" to who got the most... well.. you know... "result".

Sarah_Jayne 05-20-2006 12:33 PM

djroof 05-20-2006 12:33 PM

I prefer the old song from them.... 1 point to Spain from me!

Spain always send songs in Eurovision in spanish languange and not in english... interesting... also Spain did the special that in past won 2 times in row the Eurovision contest!
