firstly it is an institution (for better or for mostly worse), one of the few things the whole of Europe watches and most important the 'tradition' of crap twee bands winning was smashed this year by metal guys from Finaland..worth talking about with our tongues in our cheeks

Well the dutch guy made a complete fool out of himself.. it was probably funny to him and to his audience because he acts like this all the time. Although you could quite clearly see the lack of tact of the Dutch here. Very rude...

To be fair to Greece getting somebody that speaks English as well as the female host (obviously because of living in the States) was a good move. It is horrible when the hosts can barely be understood.

Accents are good. However, when presenting a show in English (why it has to be in English I don't know) it is best to actually be able to speak it. Even thick accents are good but in the past there have been presenters that clearly didn't know what they wer saying.
