95 percent of designers suck bad, the best templates are made by full-time gallery makers who make a good living and get plenty of sales.

Most designers are a joke and make crap like a big header on top, 3 rows of thumbs and some blinking crap at the bottom with such enticing well written, well thought out text links like "enter here for more!" or "more here" or "click here for more!

The best is when they have blinking crap at different intervals, it's like a set of lights on a christmas tree and if you look close enough you might get a seizure.

or even yet worse fpa templates that are like over 100kb and take a freakin min to load, with some ugly pic of a girl on one side, and some more blinking crap.

I agree 100% . I`d rather pay someone who can write good ads, knows how to pre-sell rather than paying some schmuck with basic photoshop skills who`s using the same text as the paysite advertised..i just don`t get the latest craze on these gallery "designers". You dont need fancy graphics to sell a site. Its all about the content and the text. Simplicity sells.
