A nice, white t-shirt (thick, not the cheap ones) is a must have. Black is pretty much a staple, too.

I also have a lot of the citrus/summer colors that I love- lime, melon, turquoise, tangerine, and hot pink. The look good with anything- capris, khaki shorts, denim shorts/skirts, mini skirts, or jeans. I have a pink one on right now with white soffe shorts.
