What a Car - Twin Turbo !!!
I was invited by the Porsche Training Team to test drive the new BoxsterS and 911 GT2 Twin Turbo !
Here's a couple of pics   needless to say i went and took them for a spin this sunday. what a fu*king ride 230kmh on a narrow road training track which is completly different to driving that speed on an open highway  ------------------------------------------------- from roadandtrack.com Zero to 60 mph in 3.6 seconds. Zero to 100 mph in 8.9 seconds. The quarter mile in 11.9 sec. with the speedometer sweeping past the 120-mph mark. To put the GT2 into perspective, the only cars in our Road Test Summary that can accelerate faster are million-dollar machines such as the McLaren F1, and two purpose-built race cars: the Mercedes-Benz CLK-GTR and Le Mans-winning Porsche 911 GT1. Even the $275,000-plus Lamborghini Diablo 6.0 and the $480,000-plus Ferrari F50 would have trouble keeping up. --------------------------------------------------------------------- not sure what you guys did this weekend, but i've had one of the best days ever . |

Oh yes, i came in my pants when i saw one of the twin turbos featured in that British mag, Car. Certainly a nice piece of machinery!

it's just an amazing car, i was in the right place at the right time
to meet these guys, i've driven fast when i was in germany on the autobahn but that's 4-5 lanes of perfect streight road, this was just fucking amazing sliding into every corner thrill of a lifetime  |
