GFY is a community. give aaron and meta a 2nd chance

it is my opinion that everyone deserves a 2nd chance, unless you did something horrible like rape or kill someone.
this is just a messageboard, it is not a life and death situation, or a place to take things seriously. I think everyone should look in the mirror before passing judgments on a board called gofuckyourself. everyone on this board starts pissing matches left and right with everyone else and their mother. everyone here at SOME POINT in their stint at GFY has made posts that might have warranted a banning.
if lensman wants to cut down on the amount of fighting and pissing matches here, then more power to him! but i just don't know if this is the right way to go about it.
GFY, find it in your heart to forgive the 2, and give them another chance. if they screw up again, then ban them for life. make it clear to them that their behavior is unacceptable, and see if they can play by the rules. if they can't, then they deserve to be banned. it is my opinion that both those guys were trying to push the envelope a bit, and they stepped over the line. gfy, lets be a community. give them a 2nd chance, and see what happens. thats all i have to say. maybe im just too much of a nice guy.

Your missing a major point here. Aaron's been banned something like 5 or 6 times so you are saying he should never come back?

As for Metaform - the guy's never had anything useful or intelligent to say. While that may be true of much of this board most people at least contribute something from time to time other than pure BS.

im sorry, being banned from gfy is not even in the same ballpark as being in a jail in mexico. its just that i am in canada, and don't think there is anything i can do to get him out of jail, so just trying to help in anyway that i can.

bone, i respect you and your opinion very much, so im not questioning your power, and certainly do not want to get banned. i just thought we could all put this behind us, give them both a 2nd chance, and move on to better things.

tipsy, i realize aaron has had his troubles in the past with GFY, but look at what is going on right now with him in mexico. i think he has paid his dues.
as for metaform, i do disagree with you on not contributing to this board. he has made several posts that really did contribute to this board and brought good solid entertainment to gfy. i am not just blowing smoke out of my ass, he really did make some good posts, and i can pull some up for you if you do not believe me, but he was such a volitaile poster that his bad posts stand out. he was a asshole at time also. we cannot disregard the fact that he had a bit of a temper. im just saying he desrves a 2nd chance. if he doesnt change, ban him for life.
i just don't understand how anyone can sit there and hold a grudge against a guy like aaron who is in a horrible situation right now. i feel so bad for aaron, i cannot even express it right now

There is an ugly trend here to build some sort of rep off of stupid incessant postings. Banning the current worst offender goes a long way towards teaching the teenagers here where the line is.
