Registerfly, Being shady once again

Ever try to transfer a domain from them? You sit and wait for the email and it never comes, the reason being is because, they added this to the top of all your domain registrations, check it out.

=-=-=-=

Registration Service Provided By: Registerfly.com
Contact: [email protected]
Visit: http://www.registerfly.com

So all transfer requests from other registrars go to the support email of registerfly and never to you. Nice way to force your customers to stay.

I moved a load of domains away from Registerfly to Moniker and they were awesome. Replies to emails in a couple of hours (i'm overseas) and even ICQ contact. Went very smooth as i was expecting a hard time with RF.

I'm moving all my domains away from them after they:

- put themselves in as owners
- changed the nameservers
- deleted support tickets
- failed to renew domains

seriously shitty company..

The thing that is also crap is even after I moved all domains out; how every couple days I get you need to renew domains from us. It is not enough that I don't have domains there anymore but they still think I need to renew them wtf!

i've been using them for a couple years and slowly but surely, they've been going to shit. & their support SUCKS!! they hang up on me all the time, and im not yelling or swearing or raising my voice or anything like that...they just simply never know what to tell me, so they "put me on hold", then i have to call back and wait 30 mins on hold, just to get hung up on again.

You can log into your Godaddy account and accept/decline transfer requests in realtime, they are by far the easiest registrar I've worked with to transfer out from.
I just transferred some domains out from godaddy a couple nights ago, they were already at the new registrar the next morning.

I just transferred my domains away from them to moniker, it took about 10 days for the transfers to go through. All I had to do was contact moniker with all my domains and make sure they were unlocked at registerfly, they did everything else. Registerfly is a piece of shit, I lost 7 domains because the renewals failed and failed and failed. For some fucked up reason I couldn't renew some names that were about to expire. It has something to do with them no longer being a reseller. Now the fucks wont credit me back my money for the failed renewals, I'm assuming its because I got nasty with them. I have a support ticket that's gone unanswered for 4 consecutive weeks and when I call I get transferred to 30 people that don't know their ass from hole in the ground. Hopefully moniker will reclaim them for me, if not the shit is going to hit the fan.

I am moving mine to moniker as well, I love moniker, you call them and it rings twice and a support guy picks up, a tear almost rolled down my face haha.. Call registerfly, you will be on hold for hours.

Registerfly doesnt remove domains from your account after you move them, so they email you to renew them WITH registerfly and will keep the money for domains they cant even renew.. its such a mess.

This guy took care of everything for me and got me a nice reduced rate as well. All I had to do was register an account and give them a list of my domains, they did everything else.
