    Vertical or Horizontal?

    Is it better to install a hard drive vertical or horizontal in your computer? What will make the hard drive last longer?

              i think it might collect a little less dust vertically

                                                      It is better to install in what ever way it just slids right in, if you have to bump it and turn it to get it in try the other way, which ever way is smoother is the way to go, because it is easier, that is the only difference, neither way will make it last longer, stay cooler or collect less dust!

                                                                  it doesn't matter. my technics professor told me there's no difference, as long as it's completely vertical or completely horizontal.
