Last time I had a cat I wanted to get rid of I divorced the wife and made her take it.

She pisses on the regular flooring.. Then I usually step in it walking out to have my morning smoke or to get a glass of water in the middle of the night. Sometimes, not all the time, she will piss in the bathroom 3 feet from one of the three boxes, not even making it in there.. but she does always crap in the boxes... wtf????

My other cat albert, who I bottle fed since he was 3 days old is totally cool and never pisses on the carpets or rugs or floors...

Is there a way to deny her access to that room during the night? If she likes the closet, put her bed in there, the litter box just outside the closet but in the room, and a dish of water for her, but shut the door. She probably already considers that room hers and not something she needs to mark.

In that case it's probably incurable.

This has been happening for over a year people.. do you not think that I have tried everything possible at this point?
Pantyhose. Make a "rug" out of pantyhose and put it where the one she pees on goes. My wife's grandmother puts them under the Christmas tree to keep the cats out of the gifts.

They hate walking on nylons... I don't know if it'll work but it's worth a try if you really want to keep the cat
.

Our cat pisses on the bathroom carpet every chance he gets. We thought about it and thought about it, and we finally came up with a solution:

We wash it.

On the other hand, I just had to have my cat of 16 yrs put down because his kidneys failed him. I was fucking devastated. If she likes the closet, just let her chill there, what the hell. Put in some toys and maybe a litterbox. Set it on top of the carpet she likes to piss on.

Usually when cats start getting reclusive like that there's some kind of health issue, but if your gf is a vet tech I guess you've already exhausted that possiblity.
