Do you use the word FREE in your advertising?

Do you use the word FREE when promoting stuff like ezines, free paysite trials, live shows where the non-nude chat is free etc..? Or do you never use it, with the belief that not using the word FREE is a good way of filtering out the freeloaders or crap countries and increasing the quality of the traffic?

if its free, i'll advertise it as free, why not, i view it as a strong selling point.

          Often times I wonder why

                    Such a great question.

'Free' does generate more clicks, that's a fact. But are we targeting actual customers? Or just burning b/w? And contributing to the 'free porn flood'...

i try not to use free to often , i feel that consumers have caught onto the whole "free thing" and realised that it is never the case ,
