How do they make sliced almonds?

I mean they are sliced less than a 1/16th of an inch thick and all are length wise. I personally can not see a room full of sweat shop laborers with miniature mandoline shaving almonds.

I know it really didnt tell anyone something they did not know.

The phrase "In the Limelight" refers to the early 1900's theater, where the stage was lighted by heated limestone powder.

Also, the fine dust to keep chewing gum from sticking to the wrapper is made from marble.

You don't look a gift horse in the mouth because you can tell the age of a horse by its teeth, and it's considered rude to see how old the horse is that was given to you as a gift.

some cool stuff in here. Some a knew, most I didn't, but it is a little outdated because this one says: "No NFL team which plays its home games in a domed stadium has ever won a Superbowl." And in 2000 the St. Louis Rams won the Super Bowl and they play in the dome.

The best way to pour ketchup out of those 'classic' ketchup bottles is to tap at the logo near the lower neck of the bottle. Raise the bottle and lower the opening and tap.

* The quack does echo, but it is usually too quiet to hear. When you want to hear an echo, you usually make a very loud noise to make sure the reflection can be heard. But a duck quacks too quietly, so the reflection is too quiet to hear.
* Ducks don't quack near reflecting surfaces. You need a large reflecting surface, a mountain or building for the sound to reflect off. Maybe ducks don't hang around reflecting surfaces.
* It is hard to hear the echo of a sound which fades in and fades out.
