                      I've always been a PlayStation guy, but I think they dropped the ball by letting XBOX get such a head start. But, I would rather get something that has all the kinks worked out rather than something that was rushed onto the shelves. I heard there were some issues with the XBOX but not sure.

                                  Pretty shoddy graphics on that thing. Most of the stuff they showed off at E3 looked worse than the Gamecube. I guess it is all about the controller, but it looks way too tiring for my liking. I'm sure it will be a big hit with the kids who don't mind flailing around in front of the TV.

                                                              xbox 360 had issue on the first day people were saying the screen would go blue or something an error would should up blah blah... but i think nintendo new system looks pretty pimp i think but thats my 2 cents.

                                                                      I've always been big on PS2 and my son loves it .. but I have to say the interaction with this system looks sick ... if i could get my son to be active (swinging the sword or golf club) with those controllers i would feel much better about the 2 hours he wants to play ... at least he wouldn't be just sitting on the floor ... and the games look great at that price I may pic one up

                                                                                                                          One has to wonder if they would be better off sticking with the Japanese market. They don't quite seem to understand the American market. It's a shame too, I still love NES and SNES. Those were some sweet systems.

                                                                                                                                      Is that why Nintendo sold more Nintendo DS than Sony sold PSPs? Is that why Nintendogs sold THAT much with the Nintendo DS?

                                                                                                                                      The WII will sell like crazy...the graphics wont be as good as the ps3 or the xbox 360, thats a fact. But they just dont want to follow the same market as these 2 consoles.

                                                                                                                                      They dont want to target the hardcore gamers market, but want to target the families. The president of Nintendo said in E3 that they want people to play on consoles as much as they watch TV shows, and I think that they have a pretty good plan to achieve this goal with the WII.

                                                                                                                                      A lot of people plays simple games on their computers... they do it because its easy to manipulate a mouse. They dont want to use game pads full of buttons. They just dont like it.

                                                                                                                                      With a controller like the one of the WII, they will just have to move their controller... it will be just as easy as playing with their mouse on their computer AND they will be in thei rliving room.

                                                                                                                                      Trust be, the WII will be a VERY good seller... a lot more than the Nintendo DS

                                                                                                                                          When the WII will go out, I plan to play RPGs and shooters on my WII. Of course, I wont stop playing Quake 4 and COD2 on my computer tought.

                                                                                                                                                                                                      I've been playing videogames since pong, played games on arcades, colecovision, atari, c64, pc, nes, snes, genesis, dreamcast, playstation, playstation 2, xbox, gameboy, pretty much every system i can get my hands on.

                                                                                                                                                                                                      The last year or so i've been stuck, nothing catches my attention, nothing exciting to play out there (especially on xbox) shitloads of 1st person shooters, racing, sports games...

                                                                                                                                                                                                      The last games i remember of really enjoying were mgs3, gta:sa, and katamari damacy 1 & 2, each separated by at least 6 months between them.

                                                                                                                                                                                                      I like flashy graphics and all but it's getting ridiculous, repetitive, boring games, same formula, different graphics, there's no innovation in gameplay mechanics.

                                                                                                                                                                                                      The wii will bring back FUN to videogames, the graphics are supposedly to be only 2x maybe 3x better than the gamecube, nintendo themselves admit their console will have less 'specs' than the 360 and ps3 so what? i want to have FUN!



                                                                                                                                                                                                      you're all underestimating the possibilities the wii controller will open in the gameplay experience, i've never ever considered playing a 'fishing' game before, now it sounds like fun, actually a better example, i kinda hate first person shooters (besides half life 1/2) not to mention fps on a console controller but i know it will be awesome to just point the wii controllers and have better control on FPS than even on PCs, not to mention with the lightgun this thing is going to be HUGE.

                                                                                                                                                                                                      I'm not a nintendo fanboy, i like videogames no matter what console they play on, but this will bring back the 'are you playing nintendo?' slang term back to US english.
