I wanna know who has or has not left their country of birth, or even state for that matter... I know a couple people who have never left their state yet...

I've been to prolly 20 of 50 states in the US, been to canada, mexico, philipines....

Where have you traveled? Or have you never left the house yet?

Oregon, Washington, Nevada, New Mexico, Arizona, Oklahoma, Texas, Montana, Idaho, Wyoming, Louisiana, Florida, *Washington DC, Maryland.
*DC not really a state.
Countries Visited:
Mexico, Canada, Panama, Spain

I've been to a good 10 states I think, and Canada.

This doesn't include any of the stop or lay overs, and such. Those would put me closer to 25 visited.

Born in the USA (Washington), I've lived in Nevada and Oregon, visited California, Arizona and Florida, and spent some time skiing in Utah. The only other country I've been to is Canada... it must be time to plan a vacation!

I've been to Albania, Macedonia, Greece and of course Canada since I live in Washington state and it's so close. Growing up poor, though, the only places I went were in my stepdad's 18 wheeler as a long haul truck driver.

When I went to a private university it was total culture shock being around people who took international travel for granted. I'd never really planned for it, so when the opportunity came up to visit the poorest country in Europe it seemed like a perfect opportunity to expand my horizons while staying true to my white trash roots.

I do think it's very important to get out of your bubble and see what life is like outside of North America (or wherever you grew up and still live). My travels made me more proud (and interestingly enough, more ashamed) than I ever was before of my country.
