Fuck American Idol.

Chris Daughtry, 26, of McLeansville, N.C. got the boot last night. Now there's no one from NC in it. I was shocked and dismayed. Everyone here thinks it was rigged cuz they didn't want someone from NC to win as Fantasia Barrino mad a fool out of her home town High Point NC when she came out with the whole "I can't read" thing.

Chris was the best rock singer but didn't do well outside his genre.

Remember Bo Bice? He was a rock singer but did well in other genres. When it was down to the final 4, he took a huge chance by singing a non-rock song and he did it acapella. He did an incredible job and colored outside the boxes.

You need to be a good all-around singer, which is why I think Carrie Underwood should never have won.

After his contract with AI is done I'm sure Chris will have an amazing future as a hard rock singer.

He was my favorite, and after thinking about it a lot I think he'll be better off by going out as #4. Now he can separate himself from that sillyness easier.

He may be better off with not winning. He will probably still get some kind of a deal, but he won't be tied to American Idol like the winner will be. I mean look at Clay Aiken. I'm not a fan of his but he certainly is doing a lot better than Ruben is right.

I dont think the show was rigged. I just think the favorite didnt bring home the bacon and alot of people who bet are pissed. I'm not too happy about losing my money either, but that dont mean the show was rigged.

I was stunned by the whole thing - figured chris was the top 2 not booted before Katharine. He does have flexibility - I just think alot of teen male dialers who have a hard on for her didn't want her to be booted so that AI would be a sausage factory.

Come on now I care about it cuz he's from the next town over give me a break and it's really not that far fetched that it's ridged. They were going to have a concert at the baseball stadium where we went to the beer festive on Friday but it was canceled.

I'm not going to watch it myself any more. I was really hoping Chris would win as we have friends in common and I have see him and his band play. It's very sad to see people mad at me cuz I wanted someone I kinda know to win but oh well it's GFY right?

Yep they had put a sign up on the road dedicated to her and when she came out bashing High Point they wanted it pulled. It's still there.
