Banners inside ePassporte's account area?

I just logged in to my ePassporte account and found a banner in the new email system linking to Imlive.com. Would never think it would go so far.

What's your opinion on this?

Yeah, it is bad. I see it too. It is not like epass is used for porn. I was first introduced to it because of Digital Rivers and that is mainstream shareware payment provider.

well just to put this in perspective a little.. My other credit card companies also have advertising in their account areas..

But im also a little concerned.. When people signup for a porn site with paycom and click a cross-sale , they are automagically charged for an epassporte account and given a complimentary epassporte account ( so they can charge the rebill to ) , so now every surfer that signs up for a cross-sale will now be given advertising by epassporte to other porn sites..

$0.25 for peer to peer tranfers
$5 per $100 to load your cc

proberly not enough for them, and then to think of they are deleting all of our emails (if you dont back them up yourself) for the new email system with banners.

The problem I have with it, is I've given out GIFT accounts to family. Now they'll all be introduced to PORN with their new Epass Visa's. Yay.

Fuckers.

I noted that with some concern too, wondering whether they had a flag that showed I was involved with porn (and thus displayed those banners) or whether it was shown to everyone.

Then again, if they were smart enough to work out that I was in porn - a sponsor created my account - they wouldn't be showing me surfer ads.

Not only is that a problem since we pay for the account (paypal doesnt do this)
But these are adult ads and i am positive that not all epass members work in adult.
