But I can't believe someone would go from porn to toys.

Toys are soooooooooo much harder to sell, and your profit is sliced instantly because you have to actually pay for the products.

If I was doing the amount of sales I've done at BRS in porn I'd be a millionaire right now, instead, I drive a camry.

Before this I was in the mainstream e-commerce business and after this, who knows? I think it's good for people to take a chance and try different avenues - if we don't grow, we shrink (or something like that..)

I'm sure you do! But you're missing the point. Webmasters make a lot more with us on each sale then we make, and on certain products we actually lose money.

It just seems very easy to make tons of money in porn, and very hard to make a lot in toys.

That's a really good point.

The smaller the company the more your actions directly affect your income.

When you are getting paid a salary it doesn't really matter.

Not to mention his bonuses are tied to a product that they not only own the market for, it's one that just about every male targeted (porn & mainstream) website carries or will carry in the future. That makes up for the loss of the "bulk sales" that pushing porn brings in a saturated market.

It kinda works out the same for him either way but at least this way he has less competition for webmaster traffic.
