            Sucks.. .xxx could have really killed off some of the thousands of assholes registering domains only to spam and take up space that could be used in useful ways. Guess noone thought or cared about that. It's pretty sad that the majority IN the industry oppose the idea of actually standing up for the "brands" you claim to own.

                  Good news indeed. Now, hopefully people can make some progress on .kids (or equivalant). The internet, like the world, is and should be for grown-ups. Kid-safe zones make a *lot* more sense than trying to make the whole damn thing kid-safe and allowing only limited "adults" areas.

                  Kudos to those who wrote ICANN to express opposition, and big thanks to those who helped organize and alert people to this deeply flawed propsal. Amazingly enough, common sense can still prevail sometimes.
