So I'm doing research and joining sites, guess which processor denied and banned me?

I'm doing some research and decided to join a bunch of paysites. My credit card has never been used in adult before. Fresh. Should work everywhere.

I try Dhd Media. Successful
I try Paycom. Successful
I try Netbilling. Successful
I try Ccbill. DENIED! Not only denied i tried entering in my information twice and now it says Banned Ip and Too Many entries today.

ARGH. Figures sales are crap today.

yeah, could be a case of 4 processors too fast and your bank declining it because they suspect fraud?

I use ccbill. I rely on ccbill. I like ccbill. I'm just bummed at what happened today. They know. I've emailed them.

If every other processor blocked me I'd think ok my cc isn't going thru.
Instead ccbill denied me first then the others accepted me. Not one other processor denied me. I joined 4 dhd sites in 10 minutes and they all went thru. It's starting to make me think I'm losing alot of money.

Maybe you didn't have enough funds?

Okay on a serious note. This sucks indeed. I'm curious what the decline reason was/is. A few guesses

1. Still a few active memberships to paysites
2. CC from country A while buying it from country B?

I hope they give you the decline reason. I'm very curious myself

Andre

YARGH! It could be possible that a shared db was used, and all the previous charges you did raised some red flags.

I see the denials and CCBILL bounce them to the other billing companies. Chances are if CCBILL turn them down the rest do.

Never worry about the ones that slip pass the net.

Btw i knew making this post wasn't the smartest thing to do. There are always reasons for declines and reasons for sales being off. I think one thing that processors (and their employees and reps) completely fail to realize is the thought process of us Paysite Owners and the affiliates that promote them. The majority of us have never worked for a processor and never had the privilege of seeing exactly how a processor works. That being said a lot of what is said is pure speculation. Without any knowledge of how their backend works and without ever hearing anything but everything is ok all we have to go by is our stats and experiences.

- When stats drops by 30% in one day for no reason logic tells me something is not right.
- When stats drop 30% on the exact same date (not day of the week but actual date of the month) as last month logic tells me something is not right.
- When my credit card that works everywhere else is declined that tells me something is not right.
- When other reputable webmasters complain about unexplainable drops in sales that gets me wondering.
- When other reputable webmasters report their credit card was denied that gets me wondering.

Starting this thread wasn't the smartest thing. However ccbill has to know people are talking and questioning wtf is going on. Last month I got more emails from fellow ccbill paysite owners asking if my sales were down than ever before. I love ccbill. I like their risk averse style. It makes me feel comfortable about their future and the future of my money with them. With our $$$ on the line it sometiems is very frustrating and tough to stay quiet. Especially when you have a mouth like mine.

All processors seem to use different blocked lists. I can't even join my own sites at Wildcash.com via Paycom (blocked Australia) but we cascade to CCbill and CCbill allow Australian credit cards and we can signup no worries.

Surprising thing is most sites i tried to join were ccbill only. It screwed my research LOL. I swear if I ever needed a job I'd do paysite consulting. I know about 10 sites (from today's experience) that I could go in and increase their revenue 5 to 10% within 2 weeks LOL.

Shap i do give you balls for making post like this.. Hopefully you achieve something out of it other then stress..

If you notice a proccessor tightening up the scrub flip over to another. thats the only thing you can really do.

Some tighten up more in the beginning of the month and others at the end of the month

So it's no surprise to me that CCBill has a picture of you too.

shap,

i did the exact same thing with paycom the other day. i got to number crunching and nothing was making sense. i called up rand and got all bent out of shape. spent some time on the phone with him, isolated the issue, and felt like a goof. i know you are an o.g. at the processing thing, but it is one of the very few things i haven't had complete learning experience with since i started in 99, so i am a noob at it. in the end, it was the bad ratios that set me off. problem was addressed and things are nice. big thanks to rand for being a great guy and taking the time to show me the things that i was cloudy. i'm sure your experience or issue wasn't what mine was, but this post just made me think of my day yesterday.

For some reason I've always had problems ordering via ccbill as well. Like Webmaster Access badge registration is through ccbill and both times I registered, I timed out (didn't get denied, but timed out each time). Its an odd problem but I hope I'm the only one experiencing it.

So whats this "Goof", or "Explaination"?

A little insider secret when the scrub is up and down during the month?
So far thats my best guess.
