shap,

i did the exact same thing with paycom the other day. i got to number crunching and nothing was making sense. i called up rand and got all bent out of shape. spent some time on the phone with him, isolated the issue, and felt like a goof. i know you are an o.g. at the processing thing, but it is one of the very few things i haven't had complete learning experience with since i started in 99, so i am a noob at it. in the end, it was the bad ratios that set me off. problem was addressed and things are nice. big thanks to rand for being a great guy and taking the time to show me the things that i was cloudy. i'm sure your experience or issue wasn't what mine was, but this post just made me think of my day yesterday.

For some reason I've always had problems ordering via ccbill as well. Like Webmaster Access badge registration is through ccbill and both times I registered, I timed out (didn't get denied, but timed out each time). Its an odd problem but I hope I'm the only one experiencing it.

So whats this "Goof", or "Explaination"?

A little insider secret when the scrub is up and down during the month?
So far thats my best guess.

What the... are you saying that Paycom deny all transactions originating from Australia?

Have you looked into your own merchant account? Not like you need certain features to bleed the surfers to death

I've learned from experience that many IPSP's run their scrubs in cycles. Perhaps thats what you got caught up in

EX. I know one IPSP that does an overview mid month and if cb's are running low they keep the scrub about the same and run another overview the following week.
If cb's are running high they tighten the scrub for the remainder of the month to even things out.

Another IPSP does the overview weekly

Remember the IPSP's can't go over their cb ratios either and when they have 10,000 vendors under them to add up and average out it's a decent business tool to keep them out of trouble and IN business.

On the other hand with your own merchant account you don't have to worry about how good or bad the other 9,999 vendors are doing on the account because YOU are the only one that counts ;)

yes its a shameless plug but its also the truth! lol

I live in Australia, and CCbill is the only company that will not accept any of my cards...

If you notice a proccessor tightening up the scrub flip over to another. thats the only thing you can really do.

Some tighten up more in the beginning of the month and others at the end of the month

Or have your own merchant account through Netbilling and control the scrubbing yourself.

I would be very surprised if any of the IPSPs that I am familiar with worked that way. I can tell you that for certain, that is not how CCBill operates.

BINGO. My client profile shows i've only joined Gay, Shemale, and Bisexual sites. Trying to join a straight site was not typical for my profile and was flagged and denied. It's a very complex and advanced system and you can understand why Corvette did not post that.

I'm in AU. I've had a ccbill decline once, but I was able to use the same card again within 24h. It's a pity that they don't offer a more meaningful explanation about why the card was declined, but obviously that's something they cannot consider.
