Baddog - play around with Photoshop a bit and try bringing up the lights to contrast with the darks a little better. B&W taken in dull weather conditions can lead to having a little too much of the middle grey shades which can be improved by widening the range of shades, if you see what I mean.
1.) i don't think the pics are bad.. i was just giving you a hard time
2.) this pic is pretty cool
3.) for some serious constructive criticism, i suggest waiting a while longer before trying to do angel shots like the ones in your first and second pic.. other then that, they look good

Batts - are you using a post bot?
I just got Phototshop last month and have zero idea how to go about doing that. Hopefully someday.
yep, b&w pics area great as sometimes colors make us to miss something coming around us, only b&w pics can reflect the pure beauty of any place we shoot.
