You are trying to pin a number on a name and that number completely depends on the domain owner's ability to profit from the traffic.

I'm not concerned with people who can only earn 2 cents a unique visitor, or 2 dollars per sign up, or the program that earns 35 dollars per sign up. I don't care because that isn't my problem.

I want the successful people to step right up and buy the names. Everyone else multiplying 3 months times 2 cents per unique times the day of the week times 6 months can move along to the next thread.

I have told you time and time again that my asking price is achieved by considering the offers received in the past and the CURRENT domain market.

I have rejected offers tens of thousands of dollars higher than your opinion of their value. That is why I can dismiss your opinion so easily.

I agree. I am actually attempting to sell these names (off this board). Hopefully I will get a deal with two seperate end users out on the Web. That would bring a lot more money in for me.

If I sell them on GFY, I might get a bit less but the sale would be a lot less work. Plus, I've already sold names in the five figure range to GFY members, so I am also hoping one will step up for this deal.

It is so much less stressful dealing with someone you've dealt with before!

I just pulled out a very obvious example of a domain name that nobody registered for years. People thought the guy who registered it was an idiot for wasting $100. People like "Young" yelled at him and told him he had no plan and no "earnings" to demonstrate the value. Same with all the other domain names that are now worth millions.

The owner of sex.com recently sold it for more than 10 million dollars.

I was just pointing out to those who wouldn't pay more than the registration fee for a domain, just how stupid they are being by sticking to their odd theory on domains.

Not everyone can afford sex.com. So, they look for names like *************** and LocalLove.com which might be in their investment range.


These names are very nice and will be bought.

Stop braggin about how many "big" offers you got in the past and post some traffic stats for the domains.It's not about the name, cause it's not sex.com or porn.com it's ***************. I know alot of places that sell traffic for $0.02-0.05 per click,so instead of buying your domain name, I can buy so*************** (for $7) and 1,5-3 million unique visitors to it.

He's run multiple threads over the last two years trying to sell these and he never provides any sort of data with his asking prices. No current like sales, no traffic stats, no type in revenue generation amounts, nothing but asking prices. If he was even half way professional and was able to put together a convincing sale presentation, he might be able to convince a few potential buyers. As it stands now, he'll be back in here a year from now still posting these for sale just like he was last year.
