Thats right with no lube here it comes...unless we vote, and voteing is as easy as sending a email voicing your opposition regarding .XXX

Sending an email to: [email protected] which shows up at:
http://forum.icann.org/lists/xxx-tld-agreement/

could have little effect on .XXX, if .XXX is already a forgone conclusion by ICAAN, but it will atleast demonstrate to the industry (and to those who have been active in the fight for what is right) that there is some hope that when the bell is rung, webmasters will come forward.

What about all these Big Programs and our Industry Leaders, if this passes you can explain where you were when all our asses were up in the air. Every one has to vote, the .XXX group is counting on us not doing anything.

I would rather go down knowing i said something or tried to stop something, rather than rolling over and playing dead, or wishing it would just go away....

If they pull off the .xxx extension, the next step will be all the ISP's installing filters to block it. Then the government is going to force the major search engines to filter out anything with a .xxx TLD. IE will be set to block .xxx also.

How do they even propose to assign .xxx to the existing multiple versions of a name? Who gets first pick etc??

What about borderline sites? Micro-bikini sites? Non-nude sensual sites? Who judges each site to say they're adult or not?

Yeah you might be right , I sat with some large program owners at the Phoenix Forum and the stance is to fight in court to get there .com...but that is costly and ?

The ones that stay quiet that are the dangerous ones are the ones that have already grabbed the good domains that will do best, and the all the traffic deals that have been made "back room style"......so crazy..just like our political system, deals to make deals........

But, the Vote, ICANN is listening and wants to see if the claims by .XXX that our ENTIRE INDUSTY is for this .XXX....ICANN does not know the difference, so the burden is on us as a "whole" to show that is just not true.
