The GFY Graphic Designer Showdown
Okay.... I thought this was a cool idea... not to prove anything, but just for fun.
why the fuck not.....
How 'bout a good ol' fashioned GFY Graphic Designer Showdown.....
Nothing mandatory of course... anyone that wants to participate is more than welcome, and anyone that chooses to opt out, that's cool too.
Okay..... this may need some tweaking.... I'm just wingin' this here right now. And since we've all got other things going on, I modified the original formula a little.....
The Rules:
Must confirm participation by noon May 31st.
Competition begins at noon June 1st.
You have from now until then to prepare, or get a jump start if needed.
Can be any niche of your choosing, but must be an adult tour.
Competition ends June 7th at noon.
Tours must be uploaded & online when voting begins at 1pm June 7th.
One week.
One site.
One vote.
One week (7 days) to create the baddest fucking turnkey tour you can.
You use your own domain..... your own content..... doesn't have to be existing... you can have custom shoots done, or buy new or whatever.... but one week total time. On June 7th at 1pm, the tours get put to the test on a GFY wide vote. Voting will be on the following categories:
Overall Concept
Detailing
Skill
Clarity
Overall Flow
Color Matching
Kick Ass-itivity
Again..... if someone can come up with something that should be added to this thing.... anywhere in this thing..... speak up or shut up.
The Prize:
???
Top five winning tours could be auctioned off here or something.... or donated to someone or whatever.... perhaps Lens or someone would like to sponsor this event with a prize?? Maybe a button spot for a week or something?
just a suggestion guys..... some sort of prize would be a nice incentive to kick ass.... and I ain't Gates.
anyway..... if anyone wants to get in on this..... let yourself be known. Throw down the glove in a post and let's do it...... (and if we don't get at least five, then fuck it....)
