I have this tool that I use to pull them up. I'll try to find a link of it in a bit. But you step on it, and these steel things go down and then you pull it up. Next you push this rod down, and the root mass pops off the steel thingy.

Just get that spray poison that you hook to the hose. Takes ten minutes to do the average yard and works great.

Scotts Turf Builder +2. Kills all dandelions and broad leaf weeds like clover etc... plus it fertilizes your lawn.

Pull them, wash them, then eat them.

*assumption that you do not chemically treat your yard.
