Do a test,Make a fake ezine webmaster account,dont use any of your info so you wont be cheating them out of any money...Put your link on a page,signup 20 times using proxies..I'm sure you will be surprised...I did it with ALL of those 4free programs and they all failed... Btw,go do it with per signups :thumbsup even bigger surprise will be there...If you want it to be more obvious,get 10 of your buddies to do the samething.... We all know sponserhip programs shave,so stop defending it...Want proof? go do the test

btw,I'm not complaining because I KNOW this is something that has to be done...If I had a gigantic program I would be shaving 5% total signups as well...It's not a BAD thing,of course nobody will admit to it...but it's common sense...Havent most of you said chargebacks and not converting trials into monthlys has gotten horrible? How do you think a sponsorship program can pay you $35 on FREE trials when they probably only convert 75% of those...SHAAAAAVE..... Shaving = good business ... Bosshawgs,help me out here LOL

BossHawg.. thanks for responding to my email.. we all get backed up in work now & then. Like I said in my response to you, it seemed after some further investigation that *I* am solely responsible for my drop in ratio's... partly quality of traffic, and partly minor changes I made to my links that had a WAY bigger impact then I thought they would.

P.S... just an idea.. I'd love to see a user contributed FPA area -- fresh FPA's convert like nothing else.

I average about 1:30. So far this month my best was 1:23 and worst was 1:59.

I'm also getting strange things, today same traffic, usually i convert average 1:26, but today worst day 1:47, what's going on ?

0:68 today... Oh, well. That's why we have over 150 domains pushing about 25 different affiliate programs. Nothing is constant in this biz...

YA know,based on this thread, I gotta say that my long standing belief regarding this industry having the largest percentage per capita of people with foot in mouth disease, remains unwavering.Too funny.

Btw the reason ANY pay per email program seems to get saturated over time, in this case conversions seemingly dropping, is that as the data base grows your more likely to encounter duplicates and programs wont pay twice,Duh

This is why you have to get really creative coming out with new email address names....
