ROFLMAO .. I never thought of that ... It easn't too long ago that I jerked off to an old highschool flame memory ... That would really fuck things up on that front

Your head gets real fucked up at those 20 year reunions. I went to one. It was like being in a Twilight Zone / Outer Limits combo episode. LOL

You find out who has already died at a young age, so that's the first thing that totally bums everyone out.

Then you see girls that were the high school babes not so babish any more. And girls that were the school hounds looking remarkably fine as MILF's. It's a really stange phenomena and the guys were all talking about it.

Then you see the kids you thought were going to be the most successful not that successful and the kids that got picked on as geeks all millionaires from the technology era. You quickly regret having made fun of them when they tell you about how much they made selling their software company.

Then you find out a good portion of the teachers you had are all dead and long gone.

The girl you had a crush on you think holy shit what the hell was I thinking.

Your best high school buddies are bald and its fucked up when they walk up to you and you don't recognize them at all. And it sucks when you can tell after talking to people as they walk away everyone is talking about how old everyone else looks.

My reunion was really depressing. A lot of people clearly couldn't handle it and left early. Some real popular kids had died young and it dampened the festive mood everyone was expecting. My best friend had joined the Air Force and died in flight school when he passed out doing maneuvers and his jet went straight into the ground.

Lots of retrospection that's for sure.

Those people I was friends with in h.s. I still golf with, and talk to now. So I do not need to go to a reuinon for that.

Some of my friends who are doing well said they would go back to flaunt it in the other's faces as a lot of them (I guess) are loser factory workers, and such.

But I honestly wouldn't get out of bed to do that either. I do not care what they think, or how successful I am compared to them. Who cares? A bunch of people I haven't seen or talked to in 20 years, and do not know anymore, and why would I care?

Plus all the hotties from what I've heard are now fat, have a bunch of kids, hooked on drugs and such. Nothing I need to see. If my friends went, I might go for a few just to hang out with them to shoot the shit. But on the whole, I couldn't care less about the rest of my highschool class.

my 15 year will be in 2 years, if my school even does a 15 year one... I didn't go to my 10 year (never even knew there was one, no one ever contacted me) but I wouldn't have gone anyway. Doubt I'll go to my 20th when it rolls around

What I want to know is how the fuck they found you to let you know?!? I mean I'm still in touch with some high school buddies - some very well... they don't hear about it.

Are you a member of Classmates?

I would go if I were you.
Why not go?

It could be fun, or it could be boaring... you'll only know after you've gone.

RogerV3 05-08-2006 08:55 AM

i would go just for the fact that i grew up with a lot of them from about 7 years old until we were all adults. its always nice to see people you remembered from long ago. even if it is just to say hi and bs for a couple minutes.

Our senior class president has the same look on high school as some of you all do, "Fuck all of them." I have a feeling I'll be one of the ones organizing the whole damn thing. I love seeing people I grew up with, and how they changed. I moved around the state a lot when I was growing up, so I'm constantly seeing people I went to middle school with, was in 5th grade with, etc. I don't think it'll ever get old! :thumbsup
