    Strip clubs: What?s with the "throw-coins-at-strippers" game?

    So while waiting for an appointment I thought I?d grab a bite to eat at a strip club here in Calgary. So, I guess there is a "game" where you throw coins at the stripper, and if you knock of another coin that is on her, you get a poster or something.

    What is with that? Seems kind of "wrong/strange" to throw coins at people.

    Is that Canadian thing?

      I've only seen it in Canada. Probably because most US strip clubs I've been to are very tame compared to Canadian ones, and, the primary reason, it's not worth it for strippers to be hit with dirty metal for 25 cents. It makes more sense with one and two dollar coins, which we don't have yet.

      Personally that game seems a little degrating to girls, but it's their choice, so I've done it. What's more fun than bouncing a Canadian coin off of a stripper's ass when you're drunk?

                  yeah, those 2 dollar coins can come in handy. i don't think they do it anymore (i haven't been to a strip joint in some years) but i remember this one thing they did called 'tipping'. a guy would lay down on the stage, and stick a toonie in his mouth and wait. the stripper would then grind her pussy on the dudes face and try and take the toonie out with her tits. seemed rather interesting but i wasn't interested in having a stripper grind her pussy on my face after doing it to god knows how many others.

                          There is the mall "the core" downtown at TD Square
                          There is the Calgary Zoo, which is neat
                          There is the strip club I was at, the French Maid
                          There is the Calgary Tower to look at
                          There is Princes Island Park, nice place to walk though
                          There is Kensington, it is just across the bridge, you can walk through

                              heh, I was at the maid a week ago..
                              spent $20 per stripper, and didn't even get a lapdance
                              compared to the $10 lapdances in Montreal, this coin game is a rip

                                          I think it might be just an Alberta thing. Very trashy. The worst part is watching the girl crawl around on the stage picking up her coins. Some of the "classier" places have guys that come on stage afterwards to sweep up the money.

                                          I'd much rather slip a bill into a g-string than toss a loonie at the girl's snatch.

                                                  LOL, no kidding. In some strip clubs in BC the girl has a magnet on a chain to pick up all the coins.

                                                  Hm, what if she gets hit I the eye with a coin? Can she sue? Assault?
