Just before putting my kids to sleep at 7pm, my wife asked me to pick up some address labels for a project she's working on that needed to be completed tonight.

I said SURE BABY! NO PROBLEM ... She said that Staples closed at 8pm so I had about an hour. So, I walked into my office and PROMPTLY SPACED THA OUT ON WORK AND EMAILS!

At 8pm she came down and asked me if I'd picked them up ... and I was like FUCK! SO SORRY, BABY! ... started calling around to Kinkos, Office Depot, etc ... NO LUCK!

At 8:20 I found a Staples that was open until 9pm about 20 miles away from me that had the exact labels she needed. I jumped into my car got there at 8:50pm.

SLAP SHOT! SCORE!!!

WHEW!!!

While in line getting ready to pay, I hear "Jonathan? Jonathan Silverstein?" Turns out that I ran into someone that used to work for me in the EARLY DAYS. I haven't seen him in 9 years. He works for Yahoo now! Can't say which department BUT it's a GREAT one!!!

internap (ticker IIP) reported earnings today. Look them up... got in @ .47 cents... After hours trading was @ 1.53

hmmm let's see...

woke up at 2:00PM, took a long ass shower, went to my offline place of business, was handed an envelope full of cash from my boss for smashing quotas, worked out for two hours - havnt skipped a beat at the gym this week... came home to a mailbox full of checks, chick from offline place of business added me to her yahoo list (not sure if this is a good thing or bad thing yet, time will tell)... about to take another shower and work on my site for another 5-6 hours before i hit the sack. not a bad day.

That's the earliest I've gotten up all week too :)

I had the shittiest plate of pasta i have ever had in my whole existance. And one can only related when you get served bad food..

Compensated by cooking for friends in the evening.

The appliances that were holding up the closing on my new place were delivered yesterday, and my new range is one of those flat-top ones I've wanted for years!

Today is my son's 12th birthday, so it's already a great day today, too!

Took a long drive thru Valley Forge park with my wife looking at the wildlife and enjoying the top off of my Jeep for the 1st time this season

My mom agreed that I can go for my MBA abroad. Not that I need her permission but someone has to pay it :1orglaugh

I used to date one girl for two and a half years, but 10 month ago we sort of broke up :( I used to date with lots of girls, but I loved this one for real (and I think I still do). Anyway, guess what, she calls me up last night and says: do you mind if I come over? So, I said yes sure, why not :) Well, I'm not going to tell you all the details, but she stayed with me over the night :thumbsup

I took third place in a dart grabbag and then had sex in my car :) awesome night!

I was able to spend a wonderful time with my mom yesterday. I bought her a cake and we had a wonderful dinner. Making her smile is the best thing that i did today.
