Instead of just posting links to a few of our favorites, we decided to compile our stats from month to month and post them for all to see. Basically, we offer a ranking of the top 20 or so sponsors that converted for us during the month. Couple that with the fact that it's "filtered" SE traffic mixed with bookmarks, trades, etc... makes these ratios pretty "real world". If I were sending a query from google direct to a sponsor, the ratios would be a hell of a lot better of course. Look into one of my categories and you'll see lots of paysites for each niche. Surfers click around until they find what they want before signing up. So the ratios aren't purely based on SE query to join form success. It's much more complicated. But aren't all of our sites little neighborhoods of complexity? marc |
