Photoshop help...
I'm trying to create a 3D text effect in Photoshop but I can't quite remember how. It involved pasting layers of the text multiple times or something rather... Does anyone know what I'm talking about?

well, are you looking for a 3d-effect or just plain shade?

this is kinda crude way to do it but it works:
http://www.tutorialwiz.com/3D_text/ here's more: http://www.tutorialoutpost.com/text-effects/ I prefer to do the text in Illustrator and paste in in Photoshop as a Smart Object (CS-CS2). |

well, easiest way is to duplicate the layer. Move the bottom layer slightly left down (or as you wish) - change opacity to 60% or similar. Also play around a bit with the blending.
