I am going to have some logging done on my property in Oklahoma this fall, and before that?s done I figured I'd offer this up to see if anyone is interested.
I am willing to rent my property for someone to do a shoot on. Its wooded and the terrain is mountainous. Access is by an oil well road and its a rough ride, you need 4WD to get up there. This is a very remote location with no neighbors and will be perfectly *silent* other than the natural sounds of a forest. Lighting is good, there is always a gentle breeze. Its extremely gorgeous up there and pictures don?t do it justice. These photos are about three weeks old.
You can barely see it in this picture, but there is this place where the rocks form a ridge out of the ground that runs the entire length of the property. There are several flat surfaces on the rock that overlook the valley that would make for a killer shoot location. This photo is taken about half way down the drop-off that leads to the valley, looking up towards the ridge of rock formations. You can barely see the rocks in the distance if you squint.
The forestry department is very cool in this area and they will be fine with a campfire even if there is a burn restriction in place if anyone wanted to do a western themed campfire fuck scene. There are some excellent locations for this as well.
I am just thinking of ways to extract revenue from the property without damaging the shit out of it, as the loggers are going to do enough of that on their own I think.
There is also a stream that flows on the property seasonally. You are looking at a shot of the dam the beavers built that is holding it up pretty good. I don?t know if there any good locations in or around the water but I will look. There are alot of snakes though, and they are all poisonous so that might present a problem.
If anyone is interested in possibly using the location, I'll go talk a few pics for your review when I go up there next. No need for anyone to commit, just wondering if there is any interest.
