Have you had your 15 minutes of FAME? (Mine was fake)
Back in '93 while promoting a celebrity basketball tour, we only had 5 celebs turn out for a game that contractially stated we would supply at least 6. Only Alfonso Ribeiro, Mark Paul Gosselaar, David Arquette, Tone-Loc, and Casper Van Dien showed.
So what? The producer Micheal Marish, ask me to put on a uniform, and said I was a star from the show "Harry and the Hendersons". I was actually on the show twice as an extra, but NO where near a star. Bottom line is that during half time, they have an autograph session, so for 15-20 minutes I actually signed my autograph and felt the fame...hehe, so silly but true story.  |
