    High Speed Pheer (pics!)

    Ok its not the best track bike, but my 5th Gen Interceptor is still pretty far from being ready and I didnt want to miss a track day... so here are a few pics on my '04 Interceptor











    I wasnt riding all that hard because it was pretty hot and I was tired from staying up working on the bike till 1:30am the night before, plus this is my nice streetbike and I didnt want to risk rashing it up... but it was my 1st track day where I took my own bike and I learned alot about bike prep, and should be much better prepared for next time.

    Overall I had a great time though

                      thanks... that is nearing the max lean angle for that bike before the pegs start to drag. I could turn it harder by hanging more off the bike but that corner didnt really need it and I was on new tires

                                                                      Was running Michelin Pilot Powers, but next time I'm switching to Pilot Race. My buddy had them on his R6 and he was going way faster than me and said he didnt slip at all.

                                                                              pull the fuse for your headlights
                                                                              tape up headlights and taillights
                                                                              remove turn signals if you dont have flushmount
                                                                              safety wire the oil drain plug
                                                                              remove license plate or tape the bolts for it
                                                                              remove the mirrors
                                                                              tape up wheel weights

                                                                              pretty much go over everything on your bike and make sure its safe because you will be going fast... you dont want something important to vibrate off the bike at 130mph
