I love when people eat shell fish and brag about it. It's like getting to watch someone eat a plate of shit and smile the whole time.
Oysters, in particular, are one of the ocean's best filters and anti-pollutants. They take all the nasty shit that shouldn't be there -- factory waste, chemicals, bio-waste, sewage -- and they process it into that wonderful substance that folk love to suck down... "the juice." My uncle likes to make linguine with clams. When he shucks them he makes sure not to lose a drop of this stuff. He puts it in a container, and just before he serves up the pasta he actually poors "the juice" over the top like some magical gravy from the gods. I would sooner eat that dish if he took a great piss on it then stirred it up with his cock and balls.
