Discuss what's fucking going on, and which programs are best and worst. One-time "program" announcements from "established" webmasters are allowed.

wordpress experts - question for you

under options>discussion

"Comment Blacklist
This is a list of words that you want completely blacklisted from your blog"

Will that remove all instances of the listed words from the entire blog, or only from the comments section?

If it only removes them from the comments, is there any type of a plug-in that removes words from posts?

It is supposed to prevent comment spam with those phrases from being added. Not sure about the recent releases, but the early versions it wasn't all that effective.

Best thing is to set it up so you have to approve all comments. You will know your blog is a success when you get so many comments backed up that it doesn't make sense to even bother.

thanks for the reply, but I'm really looking for something that will block unwanted words from the posts; the application I'm using this for is a "SE scraper" that posts the results as blog entries, and I want to be able to filter out undesireable terms from the posts
