dizzle.com ---> How much worth?

I've been looking at purchasing dizzle.com for an upcoming project. I realize a domain is worth how much you're willing to pay...but just was wondering if anyone had any thoughts on its value?

Its kind of just an ego battle for me with the guy at this point. The project it will be used for is large enough that his asking price of $3900 isnt that bad. But i've been sticking to my guns at $2500 which perhaps is way to high as well. But domains more than anything are a "to each his own" type of thing...

$2500 is way too high already, don't go over that. His asking price is ridiculous.

Personally, I think thats too high. But really if you must have that name then its worth it. You could register gizzle.com or something similiar and it will have the same effect.

Yes, I know. The question is....on a 100K project...is 1400 really enough to cry over

Dizzle means anything starting with a D, so I guess if your project starts with a D goodluck.

You answered your own question already.

I would be willing to pay no more than $10.00 for that domain. So my thoughts on its value would be $10.00. If you would be willing to pay more and buy it, well then that's what it was worth.

it's hard to say, I think $3,900 is fucking insane for that, but if you feel it's right to pay that then it's up to you

Its site that will be HEAVILY targeted towards a college demographic and seeing as the "shizzle" "dizzle" "nizzle" words are used so much in this demographic right now it would make for a pretty memorable site name was my thinking. And since dizzle is most noteably used for "the deal"...it to me seemed like the most firm base.

I think this thread has been about as good as a pshyciatrist appointment....After hearing all opinions its back to square one.... 2500 is what i'd be willing to pay because that in my opinion is what its worth for this individual project

...i guess its much harder to price a domain when you have a specific use intended for it versus just its investment value which i dont really care about for this domain search
