Not where he works. In fact, they are just starting 12 hour shifts today. He is an engineer (drives the fire truck) and they seem to have a problem keeping them, so he has been doing 12 hour shifts for quite a while. Hopefully, the official 12 hour shift for everyone will give him more free time.

strange stuff ...here normaly whoever has the most senority can drive the truck....

Is he with a regular FD or is it like a forest crew or something??

I thought most placed adapted the 24 on 48 off

Did he get his medic or just go for ffe?

Whoever gets the training does the driving. He went for the training.

He is with Northrop and a volunteer with Riverside.

I am not sure what the status is with his paramedic cert right now.
