You are not really fat. You just need to really tone your body.

You would be amazed at what just walking a couple of miles a day can do for your body. Take your girlfriend with you when you go walk, bang her in the bushes for an extra workout for the day. :thumbsup

I also agree cut down on red meat and stay the hell away from fast food.

Im going to try jogging an hour a day and see what happens in a month. plus trying to keep my eating habits better, I don't eat junk, I just eat alot of good stuff.

If you want to lose weight, run over to your computer and put some galleries from my sites up on yours. I didn't see any, and you could use up 40 calories AND make money!:1orglaugh

haha there been a few 2 big to be true galleries that I have posted.
I get over 600 galleries a day posted to me. trying to sort out the good trusted ones.

yes, you're fat... but not to worry... i was 5'11" 216# 2.5 months ago... since then ive lost 31 pounds and am 185#... how did i do it? hardcore:

gym 3 days on, 1 day off, cardio 7 days a week (Stair master, in the 'Fat Burning' range for your heart rate) medium weights, 4 sets 8-10 reps... for 2 of the cardio days i do tennis or basketball for 1 - 1.5 hours

DIET (the most important):

eat 6 times a day

when u first wake up eat a carb... like 1 cup of rice (put some salsa on it for flavor, or a tsp of teriyaki sauce)

then 2 hours later, a protein like 1 chicken breast or 1 tuna steak (or canned tuna).... IMPORTANT: Get yourself a Foreman Grill !!!! This will allow you to cook the meats quickly, and easily, and draining the excess fat

also, i dont do rice/chicken/rice/chicken/rice/chicken all the time... for breakfast my carb is 1 cup of plain, fat free yoghurt with 1/2 cup of granola

and i have a protein shake with a banana after my workouts...

your walking up and down the stairs 'excercise' is better than nothing, but if you want to shape up, you gotta put in some pain for the gain...


and you CAN deviate from your diet like once every other week with a gnarly dinner or pizza or whatever... just be smart on the portion

you make it sound much easier, I run up and down my stairs back and forth, reason being I got this stupid exercise machine that don't seem to do shit.. running up and down the stairs definatly gets my heart going and makes me feel pumped, I also do weights, situps, pushups.. going to attempt running early mornings.

my goal is to see how fast I can shape up and come post the 2nd pic of me, reason being I don't care what ppl say about me now, cause in a couple or few months it will only make my achivement that much better.

Yeah, I used to stay in good shape for fighting, but I had a car accident many, many years ago now, and it just became an excuse as to why I "couldn't" anymore.

Back in to training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu hard now (4 group and 1-2 privates each week) along with running and weight training and I feel fucking great.

That quad thingie won't do you a lot of good. That's just something to get more out of the house and be in nature.

If I were you I would get me a boxing bag, basketball hoop, soccer ball because you don't need to leave the house to do this. Hit the bag for 30 minutes a day, play some basketball for 40 minutes and some soccer for 30 minutes. Make sure you run around a lot while doing this, if you don't add 15 minutes of running to your program. Keep doing this every single day and in about 2 or 3 months you will see some good results. Put your wife on the atv so she can coach you while you are taking your daily run. :winkwink:

my problem is love handles... i am down to 219 from a high of 258 (beginning of last summer)

i still have the handles though... less of a stomach, but its still there a bit too

You most certainly are not "fat". Just need a bit of work (as we all do I'm sure) I would definately get a personal trainer if you can. I work with one of the best and it's working really well for me. Not only is she my trainer she also provides my meal plan and suppliments etc...It's worth the money. And I can still drink once a week...Beer is what will bring you down, if you must drink, drink vodka and soda. It's tough to give up beer, especially in the summer etc...You can do it, doesn't look as though you need much work...weights, cardo a proper diet plan etc will get you where you want to be in 6 weeks or so IMO.
