I'd encourage everyone to oppose .xxx but IMO encouraging .kids is not the best solution.
So please send your anti-.xxx emails to ICANN and explain arguments against that extension, preferably without encouraging .kids at the same time.
Especially since it looks not natural when everyone opposing .XXX suggests. KIDS.
The web is working fine now, no need for .xxx, no need for kids either.
Just my opinion. I note that a few posters have suggested the idea of .kids solving the issue, I just don't see this. That would mean that millions of websites would be forced to buy a .kid domain name including many non- commercial sites such as school sites and research sites. You would be forcing these sites to spend money. The .XXX method only forces sites that are commercial and money making to spend money, therefore this is the fairest method.
Also, can you imagine all those kids accepting that they can only browse .kid domains, its just not workable. XXX is merely a classification such as in the movie business with films and nobody objects to that.
