You're missing the point. Even if you were a lock to win had you sued for $4500 you still can't call someone a scammer in public. It's a seperate issue and can potentially cost a hell of a lot more than $4500.

Take your own advice and think about copyright infringement and how that effects a potential license agreement. Then take into account that copyrights are in place for a reason....To protect the business of the copyright holder.

And before you go spouting off about how a US copyright can not be enforced to a Canadian....You may want to research the Berne Convention.
